Ottawa-based Mountain Road Productions is looking for two people (including at least one woman) who have decided to take on the challenge of building a home or cottage together, from the ground up, to star in a new lifestyle series in development called The Building Adventures of…

Following in the footsteps of The Real Estate Adventures of Sandy and Maryse, which featured two close friends that bought a house, flipped it, and sold it for profit, The Building Adventures of… follows the story of two ordinary people who want more from their lives, and are willing to risk it all to make it happen. This time, they plan on doing it by building a home or cottage from the ground up and they don’t necessarily need to have experience in construction to do it. They just need over-the-top enthusiasm and a willingness to push themselves to the limit. Both are busy with families, jobs, and responsibilities but want something more in life. Whether the home is being built to keep or to sell doesn’t matter – it’s all about taking on an overwhelming task and tackling it head on.
