Wallpaper Scoring Tool
This handy little tool helps to make removal of old wallpaper much easier. It makes holes in the wallpaper to allow liquid remover to penetrate and thin the paste, without damaging the walls.
Painting is one of those simple things you can do to change the style of a room. Painting is a lot more fun when you have friends to help, and you'll be sure to have a good time, as well as get the work done faster.
This episode has the boys doing some basic wall painting, ceiling painting and wall papering. We look at proper surface preparation, various rollers and brush types and explore the myths and mysteries around acrylic and oil based finishes. Leigh agrees to help paint the main room, on the condition that he and George switch and do each others bedrooms (like that TV show we can't remember the name of). It soon becomes obvious that Leigh has a much more adventurous sense of colour and style than George does. In the end, Leigh's work must be undone, which provides the chance to talk about wallpaper removal!

- As with any home improvement job, it's more fun when you have friends to help!
